Temporary Flower Beds & Irrigation – TV Set, Greenwich

On this project in Greenwich, we were commissioned to deliver a temporary planting solution for a television production set. The brief required a visually striking yet practical design that would translate well on camera while also being efficient to install, maintain, and remove once filming was complete. The challenge was to create a vibrant, natural-looking environment that enhanced the scene without interfering with the day-to-day demands of a busy production schedule.

We began by designing and constructing a series of bespoke raised flower beds, tailored specifically to the layout and requirements of the set. These were carefully positioned to frame key areas on camera and add depth and interest to the space. Each planter was filled with a thoughtfully selected mix of plants, chosen for their colour, texture, and on-screen impact, ensuring they would remain visually consistent under various lighting conditions.

To support the health and longevity of the planting throughout filming, we installed a discreet irrigation system. This allowed for efficient watering with minimal disruption, ensuring the plants remained fresh and camera-ready at all times.

The finished result was a high-impact, professional planting scheme that brought the set to life, successfully balancing visual appeal with the practical needs of the production team.
