Finchley Gate Replacement

This project in Finchley involved replacing an old and deteriorating rear gate that had become both impractical and visually unappealing. Over time, the existing gate had suffered from wear and weather damage, making access difficult and detracting from the overall appearance of the property. The client was looking for a more modern, durable solution that would improve functionality while maintaining security.

After assessing the available space and the client’s requirements, we designed and installed a bespoke bi-fold gate system. Unlike traditional gates that require a large swing area, the bi-fold design allows the gate panels to fold neatly inwards, making it an ideal choice for properties where space is limited. This innovative solution provides easier vehicle access from the rear of the property while maximising the usable space when the gate is open.

The new gate was constructed using high-quality pressure-treated timber to ensure long-lasting protection against the elements. Heavy-duty ironmongery and robust fixings were also installed to provide strength, stability, and reliable day-to-day operation.

The completed installation has transformed the property’s rear access, delivering a secure, practical, and attractive entrance. Not only does the new gate improve accessibility, but it also enhances the overall appearance of the boundary with a clean, contemporary finish that complements the surrounding property.
