For this project in Sevenoaks, Kent, the client was looking to completely transform the front of their property into a space that felt more practical, organised, and visually inviting. The existing frontage lacked clear structure and usability, so the brief focused on creating a dedicated paved parking area alongside a durable shingle driveway, complemented by a new front boundary wall, secure gates, and well-placed lighting.

We started by preparing the area and installing a robust crate system beneath the gravel driveway. This system provides essential structural support while allowing for effective drainage, helping to prevent water build-up and ensuring the driveway remains stable over time. The shingle finish was chosen for its natural appearance, creating a softer look that blends well with the surrounding setting.

The paved parking area was constructed using high-quality slabs, offering a smooth, hard-wearing surface suitable for daily use. To frame the property, a new front wall was built to clearly define the boundary, paired with stylish gates that enhance both security and accessibility.

Finally, low-level exterior lighting was installed to subtly illuminate the entrance, improving visibility and adding a welcoming touch. The completed project delivers a balanced combination of functionality, durability, and refined kerb appeal.
