Acoustic Fence Installation – M25 Development

BLS Landscapes was appointed by a property developer to supply and install specialist acoustic fencing for a new residential development located directly alongside the M25 motorway. Due to the site’s close proximity to one of the UK’s busiest roads, reducing traffic noise was a key requirement to help create a more comfortable living environment for future homeowners.

Following an initial site assessment, we designed and installed a continuous run of high-performance acoustic fencing along the full boundary of the development. Unlike standard timber fencing, acoustic fencing is specifically engineered to reduce the transmission of sound, making it an ideal solution for developments near motorways, railways, and other high-traffic areas.

In addition to its excellent noise-reducing properties, the fence also provides enhanced privacy and security for residents. The solid construction creates an attractive boundary while helping to shield gardens and communal spaces from both noise and unwanted visibility.

To ensure a long-lasting installation, all timber used was pressure-treated to protect against rot, decay, and the effects of the British weather. Every section was installed with precision, ensuring the fence met the acoustic performance specifications required for the development while maintaining a clean and uniform appearance throughout.

Working closely with the developer allowed us to complete the installation efficiently and in line with the wider construction programme, ensuring the project remained on schedule without compromising on quality.

This project demonstrates BLS Landscapes’ ability to deliver specialist fencing solutions for both residential and commercial developments. Whether the requirement is for acoustic fencing, security fencing, or high-quality timber boundary installations, our experienced team delivers durable, professional results that are built to stand the test of time.
